Since I laid my eyes on this Oven at Muji, I have been thinking about it and I got it in February.
It did an alright job last month motivating me to cook something, anything.
It was hardest to find non-artificial decorations, I love cupcakes but I can’t stand ill-coloured sweets.
I never made Butter Cream before, but I figured Italian fits best for something decorative. It supposed to be light out of 3 types but I still find it heavy maybe. The Oven is big enough to roast a Turkey I don’t think I’ll roast a whole Turkey but and it goes up to 250℃ with defrost/cook setting, so its enough for daily cooking.
For the Bechamel Sauce in Lasagne I used Soy Milk instead of Dairy Milk, taste is little different but in a good way. I think it tastes lighter? However I don’t recommend Soy Milk for baking and I use normal milk exceptionally when baking cakes. You can also replace Bechamel with freshly sliced Mozzarella Cheese. ?
Ragu sauce it is pretty much the same as how everyone makes, just with Organic vegetables. Minced Beef, Red wine, Garlic, Onions, Extra Virgin Olive Oil(or Grape Seed Oil), Canned Tomatoes and Celery. There are lot of recipes that I want to try and staring at them its growing my appetite. -_-
I have no plan of making this a cooking blog but, Food category will be frequently updated. (I’m not customed to eating pies but I love one with Chicken & Mushroom. )
